Andrew van RossPhysiotherapist BHSc (physiotherapy), MNZSP

Andrew is a physiotherapy graduate from AUT. Throughout his study Andrew worked with numerous football teams and helped mentor and provide physiotherapy treatment for a child with cerebral palsy for two years. Andrew primarily works as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist but also has a certificate in pain management, dry needling and Functional Movement Screening. Outside of work Andrew helps to physio for Mt Roskill Grammar XI football and is also a keen football player himself.


Aoife is a qualified Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor from Ireland. She graduated from University College Dublin with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy. She has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. She has worked with Eden Physiotherapy for a year and has worked with several sports teams both in Ireland and New Zealand. She believes in a holistic approach combining hands on therapy, dry needling and exercise prescription when treating her patients. Her previous experience includes working in community based rehabilitation setting and private hospital in Ireland. In her spare time, Aoife enjoys travelling, outdoor activities and socialising.

Anish KoppikarPhysiotherapist

Anish, an Indian physiotherapist from M.A.H.E University, India moved to Auckland after completing a Masters in Orthopaedics, Sports and Manual Therapy from Adelaide, Australia. He utilizes his diverse multicultural multinational clinical experience to specialize in rehabilitating musculoskeletal, occupational and sports injuries. He is passionate about serving the community and strongly believes in holistic healing. He focusses on manual therapy and exercise based injury prevention and is currently pursuing pilates training. An athlete and soccer player in his younger days he is the current physiotherapist for Bay Roskill Rugby League Club. His current interest is learning new skill sets and is pursuing spiritual advancement. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi and Konkani, who loves spending time with family and making friends.

Suraiyah Lasseter MohammedPhysiotherapist

Suraiyah is originally from NZ, but has spent her teenage years in Australia before returning to NZ to complete his Physiotherapy studies. She has competed in the Australian Netball League and dancing competitions. She has an interest on working on racecars and drifting with her husband, and loves outdoor activities and travelling, she is down to earth, approachable and enjoys being a musculoskeletal physiotherapist.

Mikhil VarmaPhysiotherapist

Mikhil Varma Is the principal physiotherapist of Rosebank road physio who graduated from AUT in 2009. Since then he has been specialising exclusively in musculoskeletal conditions encompassing the human body. Heading the Avondale branch and drawing experience from multiple years in the Auckland premier football league with Metro football club, Fox memorial shield league with Marist saints league club as well as the northern under 20’s representational league team he is well equipped to rehabilitate athletes as well individuals in the community. Offering a variety of treatment’s including dry needling as well as hands on approach Mikhil’s core area of expertise encompasses chronic as well as sports injuries. He enjoys listening to Reggae, learning to surf and having a good talk. Rosebank road Physiotherapy is open late on select days to accommodate majority of patients.

Nellie TahmasebiAcupuncturist (BHSC ,TCM)

Nellie is a trained acupuncturist. She studied a four year degree in bachelor health science & acupuncture at the NZ Chinese Medicine college. She is a member of the NZ registrar of acupuncturists(NZASA) Also a registered ACC Treatment provider. Nellie's inspiration came through training as a Psychologist while in Persia(Iran). she was working as a clinical psychologist at the Tehran Hospital and assisted many to good health but felt she could achieve more in alternative medicine . Acupuncture has elevated her knowledge to offer more specialised services toward sports injury ,anxiety/stress/headache, nerve pain/sciatic, pain relief and other physiological conditions related to injuries ,accidents or pre-requisite conditions that require treatment. Nellie aspires to living a holistic lifestyle and spends her spare time with her son and her friends.she enjoys helping people, Nature walks, gym, driving and Reading novels and poetry. She believes in balance and moderation and within her practise as an acupuncturist she is able to apply eastern healing to improve lifestyle that offers patients alternatives to further improve their condition to better ,faster recovery.

David EdwardsPhysiotherapist

David is a AUT graduate physiotherapist from New Zealand with an interest in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Previously David worked with athletes in gymnastics clubs and Rugby league clubs both in New Zealand and Australia. As well as striving towards optimal injury management with athletes, David has had further training in work place assessments and injury prevention in the work place. He is a senior Physiotherapist at the White Swan Branch.

Alfred VordermannPhysiotherapist

Alfred is a graduate of AUT, with a keen interest in providing quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy to both the general public and athletes. His interests are wrestling, mixed martial arts and weight training. As a veteran professional wrestler, he has had his fair share of injuries, and incorporates those experiences into his practice. Alfred is passionate about all sports and really enjoys working with clients who are passionate about their code.

Aziz BharuchiPrincipal Physiotherapist/Director

Aziz Bharuchi is the principal physiotherapist and director, he is a keen sportsman and enjoys keeping fit at the gym, running & playing football. Aziz graduated in 2002 and has since that time gained extensive experience working in a number of private practices and with many elite sports clubs and individuals in New Zealand. He has a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy /sports injuries aswell as rehab and exercise prescription. He grew up in Mt Roskill and has a passion for helping others from the community.

Josh KronfeldPhysiotherapist

Josh Kronfeld is a graduate of Otago University. He is more famously known as an All Blacks legend! Josh has a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries and also practices acupuncture. In his All Black career Josh had his fair share of injuries, with this knowledge and Josh's manual/manipulative therapy approach you're sure to be back onto the sports field in no time.

Jenny ChenPhysiotherapist BHSc (Physiotherapy), MNZSP

Jenny moved to New Zealand from Fiji to pursue a career in physiotherapy as it combines her love for sports and helping others. She believes in quality and patient centered care. She has a keen interest for musculoskeletal physiotherapy and side line trauma. With a keen learning interest, she intends to further develop her skills with future studies in acupuncture and manual therapy. Jenny is the primary physiotherapist for the Eden premier’s rugby team. Jenny enjoys most sports particularly basketball, badminton and a good game of social touch rugby.
